'STANGS MAKE IT 2-0
Mulheim, Germany - Tom Barrasso made stped all 25 shots and Peter Forsberg, Rob
Niedermayer and Geoff Sanderson scored for Mulheim giving them a 3-0 shutout victory in
game 2 of the playoff series against the Linköping Lynx.
A sellout crowd of 18.500 was exstatic. Mustangs' superstar Peter Forsberg emphasized teh
importance of having the home advantage. "Sometimes when the fans get real loud, it's
like we're having a Power-Play. It surely helps big time. They're the 7th man on the
ice."
Despite trailing 2-0, Lynx coach Don Hay is still confident. "Now we have games back
home in Sweden. We'll see how they go. I think we definately have a chance."
Mulheim leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. The next two games will be played in
Linköping, where the Collegium is expected to hold a sellout crowd of 18.000.
